Robin Casinader is a Canberra-based composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist whose skills have been heard in the context of his own projects as well as on the high-profile releases of a wide variety of other artists such as Nick Cave, The Black Eyed Susans, Charlie Marshall, and Midnight Oil.

Robin's musical career began in the 1980's working in collaboration with Hugo Race, Dave Graney and the Coral Snakes, and numerous film and theatre projects. He moved on to create his own band, Hood, releasing "Every Bell In Town" in 1997.

These days, all Robin's work is released under his own name and features gorgeous contributions from some of Melbourne's finest musicians including Anita Hustas, Alex Miller, Helen Mountfort, Jen Anderson, Cam Butler, and Kate Neal to name but a few. These albums also feature the sumptuous vocals of chanteuse, Pearly Black.
